WOAH AND WONDER a Solo Exhibition at Taft Gardens

Saturday May 29th, 2021

Taft Gardens Art Residency Exhibition Opening and Fundraiser

Join me to celebrate the culminating exhibition of my Taft Gardens Art-in-Nature Artist Residency. Working in the historical art studio at Taft, I have created a collage series based on the plant specimens of the South African and Australian Gardens.

In collaboration with the Abigail Ogilvy Gallery, the studio will become an exhibition space showing multiple wallpaper installations and framed works, depicting nature infused with humanity.

Due to limited capacity and to maintain social distance, RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.

Opening Take a Self-Guided Walking Tour through the Gardens up to the Gallery to see the exhibition. Meet the artist and learn about Taft. 11 am - 3 pm

Fundraiser Join us for dinner, drinks, an artist talk, and outdoor musical performance by Expandards, featuring Mikael Jorgensen of Wilco and Isaac Koren or Brothers Koren.

Tickets to this special event are $100 per person, and all proceeds will go towards supporting the development of the Art in Nature Program. 5 - 8 pm

The exhibition will be on view through July 31, 2021, on select days, as part of the Taft Self-Guided Garden Tour.

20% of proceeds made during the exhibition period will go towards the Conservation Endowment Fund (CEF)501c3 Non-Profit, steward to the Taft Gardens & Nature Preserve. CEF's mission is to EDUCATE the public about its environmental heritage, PRESERVE endangered resources, and EXPLORE the relationship of humans to their environment.
